Overview

The Milton Keynes Members Group Annual Meeting will be held before the Get Chartered presentation.

The presentation will give an overview on the Chartered application process and will apply to those who are:

• recent graduates wanting to know what it takes to become Chartered
• hold a number of years of experience and want to start the process of becoming Chartered
• need help and advice on an Individual Case Procedure or Initial Professional Development application
• in the process of applying and need some advice and guidance
• already Chartered and want to get involved in mentoring
• already mentoring but want to get the most up to date knowledge of the process.

Committee vacancies

Nominations are now open for the roles of Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and Committee Member. We request that all those submitting nominations attend the annual meeting.

Please note that all committee members must be a current member of IChemE, and for the positions of Chair and Treasurer must also be a current Chartered Chemical Engineer at Member or Fellow grade, or in rare cases actively working towards Chartered Membership.

Victoria Darcy, Regional Support Executive, IChemE

Victoria is a Regional Support Executive working for IChemE. She is focused on building relationships and developing engagement opportunities with all IChemE members – from university students to Fellows of the Institution.

Victoria is engaged with stakeholders at all levels, working with universities, organisations and active groups of IChemE Members to foster relationships that result in support for Chartered applications.

Having worked with IChemE for over nine years, Victoria is knowledgeable on all aspects of the membership benefits and particularly enjoys working with individuals at varying stages of their careers.
