Chew Zhi Ling is a dedicated PhD student in chemical engineering at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM). Her research focuses on sustainable processes, biomass and food waste valorisation, oil and fat technology, natural deep eutectic solvents, and green extraction.

She is an IChemE Associate Member and a Graduate Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
