About us

The National Early Careers Group Malaysia and South East Asia is a community for early career chemical, biochemical and process engineers committed to support and empower engineers from various backgrounds who are in the early phases of their careers.  We aim to support young professionals as they move from university into their careers, helping them build networks, grow their skills, and connect with the chemical engineering community in Malaysia and beyond.

We will offer the connections, resources and community you need to thrive through a mix of technical talks, site visits to networking events and other opportunities, all designed  to help you grow professionally, expand your network, and confidently navigate the journey ahead, while building a stronger NECG Malaysia and South East Asia together.

Join our committee

We are seeking enthusiastic and committed early-career professionals to be part of the NECG Malaysia and South East Asia committee. As a volunteer, you will contribute to planning and delivering events, shaping initiatives, and creating platforms that support others like you. Along the way, you will gain leadership experience, meet industry professionals, and be part of a motivated team making a difference in the chemical engineering community.
