Debs is a graduate process engineer currently working for bp in Aberdeen. She graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2024 with an MEng in Chemical Engineering and spent a year studying abroad at the University of Melbourne. She believes engineering is a way to solve complex global challenges and is motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

Debs is passionate about diversity and inclusion in engineering, making sure all young people from all backgrounds see engineering as a profession which is open and accessible to them.

Debs is the Events Deputy (Scotland) for the NECG UK & Ireland.
