National Early Careers Group UK and Ireland
Sneha Chandarana
Sneha is a Process Improvement Lead at Kraft Heinz, having completed the company’s graduate scheme in September 2026. She studied MEng Chemical Engineering with a Year in Industry at the University of Nottingham 2020-2025, where her academic work included bioethanol and water treatment plant design, alongside a master’s research project on 3D printed microfluidic mixers for pharmaceutical applications.
During her Year in Industry at FiberLean Technologies in Cornwall, Sneha developed hands-on process engineering experience across lab and pilot-scale operations, with a particular focus on optimisation and energy efficiency. She later joined Kraft Heinz on the graduate scheme, where she was recognised as the EPDM Zone winner for Best Lean Six Sigma Project and given the opportunity to present her work to senior leadership and executive-level stakeholders.
Outside of her professional experience, Sneha was General Secretary of her university Art Society, where she supported the running of a large student community and helped coordinate events and communications. She has also continued to build her knowledge through a range of iChemE courses, most notably in sustainability, food systems, circular economy, and cleaner process design.
As Social Media Webmaster for the iChemE National Early Careers Group UK and Ireland, Sneha is keen to help create a strong sense of community for those at the start of their careers and to support a more visible, connected, and welcoming network for early career engineers. She is always happy for people to reach out and connect with her on LinkedIn.
Sneha is the Webmaster Deputy of the NECG UK & Ireland.
