Orla is a graduate process engineer at Jacobs based in Warrington. She has previously had experience in R&D and food manufacturing through industrial placements.

Orla studied at the University of Bath, graduating with a MEng degree. She completed a design project looking at a water usage and treatment at an oil refinery, and a research project on producing medium chain carboxylic acids from food waste using a mixed microbial culture.

As vice chair, Orla hopes to grow and broaden NECC participation, creating a strong network for early chemical engineers.
