Samet is a Lecturer at Lancaster University School of Engineering and an Associate Member of the IChemE. His research focuses on developing solutions to problems in healthcare and the environment via biochemical systems and material science. He supervises and mentors undergraduate and postgraduate Chemical Engineers, and he volunteers as a STEM Ambassador to inspire young people to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
