Vignesh is a Chartered professional engineer specialising in advanced manufacturing and micro-nano-technology, with over 15 years of experience in industry, academia, R&D, and consultancy across Singapore, Australia, and India.

He holds a PhD from the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the National University of Singapore and currently serves as an advanced manufacturing manager for a Brisbane-based HealthTech firm.

Vignesh’s expertise includes developing tangible engineering solutions using advanced scale-up and manufacturing (nanoimprint) platforms to enhance medtech / healthtech, advanced sensors, optics, displays, and address energy and environmental challenges.

Throughout his career, he has made significant efforts to bridge the gap between research and real-world challenges by translating innovative concepts into practical solutions. He actively contributes to the academic and research communities as an organising committee member for international conferences, a peer reviewer for journal articles, and a mentor to researchers and students.
