Overview
The food and drink industry is the biggest UK manufacturing sector and employs over 486,000 people including chemical and process engineers. The National Centre of Excellence for Food Engineering (NCEFE) was formed at Sheffield Hallam University to drive vitality, sustainability and growth in the global food system by working with industrial partners on four research themes: digital connectivity, food system sustainability, healthier live and feed a growing population.
This event hosted by the SMG will include a tour of the research facilities at NCEFE and the opportunity to network with food and drink members.
