Chantal holds a PhD in chemical engineering with high commendation and a BSc in chemical and process engineering with first class honours from the University of the West Indies (UWI).

She has seven years of experience in industry and research and development (R&D), with an emphasis placed on sustainability, and is currently employed at the Ansa McAL Group. 

Chantal hopes to utilise her role in IChemE to bridge the gap between R&D and industry by introducing research and innovation as a tool for continuous improvement.
