Overview

This webinar offers an in-depth look into the critical role fire suppression systems play in industrial and commercial safety. Led by an experienced fire safety professional, the session will explore the core purpose of these systems—preventing loss of life and property through rapid fire control—as well as how they integrate into broader fire protection strategies.

Attendees will examine the key standards governing fire suppression (including NFPA and ISO), and understand how different firefighting media—foam, water, gas-based agents—are selected based on facility type, whether it's oil & gas infrastructure, commercial buildings, or sensitive environments like control rooms.

Real-world examples of system installations will be presented alongside best practices for inspection, maintenance, and agent disposal. Participants will leave with a practical understanding of how to select, manage, and sustain effective suppression systems in alignment with safety goals and regulatory requirements.
