Overview

Revamp opportunities continue to be at the forefront of customers project aspirations. Bechtel collaborates closely with our Energy customers to develop optimized solutions that align with sustainable, low-carbon goals. A key stepping stone in the decarbonisation effort is to maximize energy efficiency in a process, so that fuel consumption can be minimized.

ThruPlus® Delayed Coking technology provides energy efficient solutions for both fuel grade and premium grade petcoke production. Bechtel will discuss options for low-carbon firing in the coker furnace and pathways toward carbon-free operations. Additionally, the presentation will highlight strategies for emissions reduction and maximizing overall operational energy efficiency.
