Overview

The JVCEC is hosting an exclusive tour of Asahi’s Carlton & United Abbotsford Brewery – a historic large-scale brewery and producer of some of Australia’s most popular beers. Limited spots available – see brewing and packaging in action and gain insights into process operations, safety and engineering challenges.

Asahi will provide a tour of their Abbotsford brewery.

Producing 3 million hectolitres annually, Asahi’s Carlton & United Brewery, Abbotsford produces many of Australia’s most well known beers, including those in the Carlton family. First established in 1904 the site has evolved and grown into what is now one of the largest breweries in the country.

Visitors will tour the facility viewing brewing, fermentation, utility and high speed packaging processes. Visitors will view unit operations and gain an understanding of the production process, water, energy and CO2 efficiency, hazard management and engineering challenges encountered in renewal of an ageing site.

At the conclusion of the tour visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a beverage at the Carlton Brewhouse.
