Overview

The Joint Victorian Chemical Engineering Committee (JVCEC) is proud to facilitate the 2026 Pratt Prize, hosted by the RMIT City Campus. This annual event celebrates excellence in chemical engineering design, with the Pratt Prize awarded to the top current-year student in the Chemical Engineering Design Projects in Victoria.

Each participating university will nominate three design teams to present their project in poster format, showcasing feasibility, process design, operation and safety, innovation and sustainability considerations.

The evening will be facilitated by JVCEC Victoria, with projects assessed by a panel of three volunteer judges from industry and academia, who will interact with the teams via a Q&A session. Light food and drink will be provided; please advise your dietary requirements.

We welcome all-year chemical engineering students, recent graduates, academic staff, industry professionals and industry members to join us for this evening of recognition, learning and connection.
