Overview
Cybersecurity has emerged as a critical threat to control systems and process safety across various industries. While the implications of cyberattacks on business networks, such as data theft, ransomware, and denial-of-service attacks, are well recognised, the stakes are even higher for Industrial Automation, Operational Technology, and Control Systems.
Attacks on these systems can have significant repercussions, affecting physical processes in the real world. This webinar will utilise case studies to illustrate the potential damage that cyberattacks on Operational Technology can inflict on equipment, the environment, and overall safety. Attendees will gain insight into how cybersecurity threats influence control systems and process safety. The session will explore the effects of cyber events on traditional safeguarding strategies and risk assessment methods, and present essential steps for effectively managing cybersecurity risks.
