From Cowpox to Cell Culture and Cronavirus, this webinar tracks some of the advances in bioprocessing over the decades. Examining some of the milestones, the topics cover not only biopharmaceuticals but also industrial biotechnology. Henry Charlton will also cover some of the key principles of biochemical engineering. It is hoped that listeners will gain an insight into some of the complexities and also advantages of bioprocessing.

This webinar combines a brief history of bioprocessing combined with an introduction to some of the critical engineering aspects. Bioprocessing is wider than just biopharmaceuticals and is set to become yet more important as we move to a low carbon future. This webinar is intended as an introduction to the topic for all process engineers.
