Overview

This webinar will recount the experience of two Industrial Biotech companies as they have expanded, both from a technical and commercial perspective. This webinar is a precursor to a previously-postponed conference, now being planned for later in the year, to address whether sufficient scale-up capacity exists in the UK for start-up Industrial Biotech companies. Attendees of the webinar will be eligible for a discount to the conference.

Speakers

Dr Naya Moutsatsou

Dr Naya Moutsatsou will introduce the story of Mosa Meat, the Dutch food technology company developing slaughter-free meat from cell culture.

Dr James Winterburn

Dr James Winterburn will recount the development of Holiferm, the biosurfactant company.

Time

16:00—17:00 BST.

Format

A one-hour online session: 40 minutes' presentation + 20 minutes' Q&A.
