Overview
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected us all. Although there has been a focus on the rapid development of vaccines, therapeutics can also play their part in minimising the effect of the disease. This webinar discusses the variety of products that are being developed or repurposed, including manufacturing strategies and avoiding shortages.
This webinar, an output from the IChemE's COVID-19 response, discusses the variety of therapeutic products that are being developed or repurposed including both small molecules and biologics. Manufacturing routes, bottlenecks and strategies to rapidly increase production and avoid shortages of existing drugs are discussed.
