Olaniyi holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering from University of Leeds. He currently works for Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company. A Chartered Chemical Engineer with over 16 years’ experience in offshore and onshore oil and gas industry spanning engineering design, asset support, operations readiness, and project (brownfield and greenfield) management. Proven champion of quality, digitalization, fit for purpose assurance to ensure optimal value realization and deliver business priorities. Immense learner mindset with spirited determination to apply technology, process simplification and pursuit of sustainable development in improving project delivery efficiency.

Olaniyi is passionate about development and execution of sustainable energy transition strategies and plan using three major technological themes namely energy savings on the demand side, generation efficiency at production level and substitution of fossil fuel with various renewable energy sources and low carbon nuclear while influencing policy initiatives.
