Overview

The webinar will explain how and why the Digitalisation Technical Advisory Group (DigiTAG) was set up in August 2020 and how it operated, promote the work that was done over the three year term, discuss some of the remaining challenges and how we see these being be taken forward by the Digitalisation Committee (DigiCom) which is now being formed. Digitalisation is an enabling priority topic.

Speakers

Alexandra Meldrum, Vice President, Learned Society 

Alexandra was the original Digitalisation Technical Advisory Group lead. She was instrumental in setting DigiTAG up from selecting the group and launching the project. Alexandra is now IChemE's Learned Society vice president.

Helen Kilbride, Member, Learned Society

Helen has gained experience of digitalisation through her career in industry and chairing DigiTAG is her first IChemE volunteer role. As DigiTAG's work has come to an end, she has joined the Learned Society as a committee member and will continue working one Digitalisation as a priority topic area by establishing a Digitalisation Committee (DigiCom).
