Satish is a chemical engineer with a Masters in oil and gas engineering. He has been working in the nuclear and process safety sector for over five years. Having started his career with Lloyd's Register, India, he has worked on process hazard analysis tools like quantitative risk assessments, HAZOPs for several petrochemical installations.

He joined WS Atkins, India, in 2019 and has been supporting the nuclear consultancy business which supports the safety case management of the EDF fleet of AGRs. He is currently working towards his Chartership and is supporting the Nuclear Technology Special Interest Group committee. 

The main reason why he joined the committee is to help fellow chemical engineers working within the nuclear industry achieve Chartership and to develop his knowledge in the nuclear domain by interacting with peers working within the industry.
