Overview

The presentation will introduce the many interlinked aspects of digital transformation. IT, OT, ET and (I)IoT will be touched upon. It will define minimum digital foundation for digital transformation. As human factors are limiting digital transformation, we will discuss in more detail how it can be perceived by individuals and groups.

We will discuss how the subconscious shapes behaviour through emotions, and how skilled managers can use these mechanisms to create motivation in individuals and influence behaviour. In teams similar mechanisms play a role. The presentation will explain these mechanisms and propose practical approaches to influence culture and avoid resistance and productivity drops during major change. Linking social with economic science, we will demonstrate how behaviour and culture impact productivity.
