  • Date To 1st July 2020
  • Price Free of charge, open to all.
  • Location Online: 08:00 BST. Duration: 1 hour.

Overview

This webinar has been organised by the IChemE Safety Centre, the Safety & Loss Prevention SIG and IChemE’s COVID-19 Response Team, a member led group of chemical engineers and life scientists working in collaboration with the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) to address any challenges relating to COVID-19.

Following the publication of the IChemE Safety Centre’s paper on ‘Managing Process Safety during the COVID-19 Pandemic’, this webinar will provide an overview of process safety aspects that may be impacted by COVID-19. This webinar will also address the lessons learnt regarding pandemic measures and chemical process safety as covered by the Major Accident Hazards Bureau. The second half of the event will look at HAZOP and remote working as well as biohazard considerations. Panellists will as discuss what these measures can mean for operators in reality.

This webinar will be of interest to process safety managers, safety and risk engineers and HSE/safety managers. It will be relevant to people working with process safety at all levels of their organisation. It also promises to be an informative event for anyone with an interest in chemical and biological process safety.
