Overview

The webinar will focus on the development of potable reuse in Windhoek, Namibia, taking a brief, but interesting, review of events which led to the establishment thereof in 1968 and the journey to the present where DPR is providing the small city (approx. 500 000 residents) with one third of its potable water demand. The presentation will be done by Pierre van Rensburg who has spent the last 20 years working in the water sector in Namibia, both as a consultant as well as 15 years in the utility service who owns and operates the DPR facility.
