Hazards Process Safety Conference

Hazards Process Safety Conference

6th March 2026

Since its founding in 1960, Hazards has been one of the world’s leading conferences on process safety. The event brings together industry practitioners to exchange best practice, emerging thinking and lessons learned, while also providing a forum for informed technical discussion and professional networking.

Hazards offers process safety and loss prevention specialists a valuable opportunity to engage with colleagues, strengthen professional networks and renew their focus on robust, effective process safety practice.

Hazards Process Safety Conference takes place on 17–19 November 2026 in Manchester UK.

Themes

As in previous years, Hazards 36 will support chemical engineers in strengthening their approach to managing key risks by bringing together hard‑won experience and practical insight from professionals across the full spectrum of process safety. The conference will focus on good practice; executive leadership; and new technologies and applications.

The programme will showcase real‑world examples and lessons learned, examining how the profession is responding to major industry drivers, including climate change, decarbonisation, the energy transition and increasing digitalisation. These themes have consistently resonated with Hazards audiences, and Hazards 36 will continue to build on this momentum by deepening discussion and encouraging active participation.

Call for content now open

The call for content is open until 5 June 2026, inviting proposals for oral presentations or concise, visually engaging flash posters. We welcome submissions from anyone with process safety insight to share, particularly engineers and leaders responsible for managing risk in operating companies. After a record number of abstracts last year, we’re keen to build on that momentum for 2026.
