Jully is a senior Chemical Engineering Lecturer and Course Director at Monash University Malaysia. Her research focuses on life cycle assessment and optimisation for microalgae production.

Her interest areas include the study of different chemical and manufacturing production, its process selections analysis, life cycle assessment (LCA), and life cycle optimisation (LCO) which focus on environmental impacts (eg carbon footprint, water footprint, energy footprint) and contributions from different process technologies.
