Meet a difference maker – Keith Freegard

Former Sustainability Hub TAG member, Keith Freegard describes his long career in the UK manufacturing and waste reprocessing industries, ranging from bottling of household bleach to recycling of plastics from scrap cars. Due to a lack of off-the-shelf sorting and separating equipment for complex waste mixtures, it was necessary to invent new recycling equipment to do the task and, after building the first plant of its kind, Keith realised he had also started the circular economy for car plastics.
