Overview
This site visit aims to expose the BESIG members to the application of biochemical engineering in the biofertiliser industry. The participants will have the opportunity to visit the large-scale microbial bioreactor system and the microbiology/culture laboratories in IBG Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd., which embraces sustainable development concept and advanced biotechnology in the production of biofertilisers.
- Registration is required and on a first-come, first-served basis
- Priority will be given to IChemE BESIG members
- Transportation to the site is not provided
- Participant must follow the rules and regulation given by the organisers
- Contact details are required for communication during site visit

Agenda
- 09:00–09:30 – Short seminar by IBG Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd.
- 09:30–11:15 – Site tour covering bioreactor system, microbiology and R&D laboratories.
- 11:15–12:00 – Q&A session and refreshment.
