Adeel Ghayur
Dr Adeel Ghayur, adjunct faculty member at Federation University Australia, has over 20 years of experience in capnophilic biosynthetic renewable polymers and fuels, energy systems, and the circular economy. His career spans across the Victorian government, academia and industry.
Among his pioneering contributions are the development of the Orycycle Economy and Hexa City models, as well as the engineering of biosynthetic pathways for bioplastics, fuels, and materials.
His invention of Lignik – a CO2 derived construction biomaterial – has received international recognition for its potential to address both climate change and housing affordability. He is a prolific writer, with dozens of research publications, newspaper articles, books, and novels with “Nureeva and Tangora” as his latest autofiction.
