Dr Frank Mendham has been involved in industrial fire engineering, dangerous goods and BESS technology since the 1970’s, originally being a key member of the Telecom (Telstra) Telepower Group. 

He is a Professional Process Safety Engineer (MIChemE), a Companion Fellow and past Australian President of the Institute of Fire Engineers, a past National President of the Australasian Institute of Dangerous Goods Consultants (AIDGC) and the current Vice President of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (Australia Branch).

He holds a PhD from UQ in industrial fire engineering and a Master’s from VU in Fire Engineering. His fundamental qualifications are in electrical and electronics engineering.
