Overview
Safe transfer of aggressive chemicals: reducing risk, downtime and maintenance through hose selection
Flexible hose assemblies are a scarcely considered part of a chemical process, but incorrect or unsuitable specification can have significant consequences for safety, reliability and plant productivity.
This presentation looks at the operating conditions that commonly contribute to hose issues, the wider impact of failure beyond replacement cost and the factors engineers should consider when specifying hose assemblies.
