Your Conference, Your Way

Student Connect is back! This year’s online conference is run by students, for students across Australia and New Zealand. It’s designed to inspire, connect, and equip the next generation of industry leaders.

Topics chosen by student ambassadors 
Student ambassadors will select the topics most relevant to their peers, and we’ll bring in industry experts to explore them. Expect a mix of keynotes, panel sessions, debates, case studies, and other interactive formats designed to spark curiosity and discussion.

Interactive networking 
Networking goes beyond just online chats. Meet students and industry professionals from across the region in interactive sessions. Take part in trivia challenges, speed networking rounds, and themed discussion rooms to meet like-minded peers and industry leaders, share ideas, and build meaningful connections.

Gamified learning and engagement 
We’re introducing gamification to make participation more rewarding. Earn points by completing challenges, joining discussions, and interacting with sessions. Redeem points for prizes, track your progress on the leaderboard, and test your knowledge and skills in a competitive, engaging way.

Prizes and rewards 
From giveaways to leaderboard challenges, there are plenty of opportunities to earn rewards while exploring industry topics and connecting with others.

All student connect events this year are FREE.

To participate, you’ll need to be a student member of IChemE, which is also FREE for students throughout your undergraduate studies. Post graduate students can also join for FREE.
