Daniel Holland

Daniel Holland graduated with First Class honours from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Cambridge, UK, in 2006. He is now Associate Professor at the department of Chemical and Process Engineering, University of Canterbury, where the focus of his research is to provide new insight into the fundamentals of chemical processes by using the latest experimental technique.

Daniel was awarded an Andrew Fellowship in 2015, completing his research in 2019. During his fellowship he developed a new research program to address the major challenges of the fertiliser industry in New Zealand, although the work was relevant world-wide.
