Overview

This session, delivered by Aaron Pennie and supported by Melissa-Jane Dorosz, provides a clear and practical overview of the chartership journey through the Institution of Chemical Engineers.

Attendees will gain insight into the different routes to professional registration, including key requirements such as Competence & Commitment (C&C) and UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence (UK-SPEC/UKU) alignment. The session will cover the competencies required, how to evidence experience effectively, and how to navigate the application process with confidence.

It will also highlight the support available through IChemE, including mentoring and development resources, to help engineers progress towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.

A live Q&A will follow, offering the opportunity to ask questions and gain tailored advice on individual pathways.
