Overview
As part of the 2020 IChemE Hull & Humber Members Group events calendar, Croda will be facilitating a seminar on the topic of Diversity & inclusion in the Chemical and Manufacturing Industries on Tuesday 21 January.
Christopher Bannister-Bailey will be presenting on a range of aspects of diversity and inclusion from his view as the Diversity and Inclusion Manager at Croda International Plc. The session aims to raise the profile of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, focussing on the importance of diversity and inclusion to individual employees as individuals, and the role and responsibilities of companies in valuing and respecting the differences in a workforce.
Croda is the name behind the high performance ingredients in some of the biggest, most successful brands in the world, creating, making and selling products that are relied on by industries and consumers worldwide.

Christopher Bannister-Bailey — Diversity & Inclusion Manager, Croda International Plc
Christopher studied Chemistry at the University of Manchester and started his professional career in 2002 as part of Croda’s graduate management programme. Christopher has held several roles at Croda over 15 years, and currently is Group Diversity and Inclusion Manager. Within this role, Christopher is responsible for helping ensure all employee at Croda can come to work and give their best, ensuring they can bring new ideas, challenge leaders, and feel that they are valued. The area of inclusion is extremely broad and the projects vary from understanding barriers to recruiting underrepresented groups, creating best in class workplace experience, and supporting wellbeing.
