Overview

Join the London and South East Members Group for a technical talk by Graham Richardson on the topic of batteries and their manufacture, use and the issues this brings as they deliver on Energy Transition.

Graham's talk will highlight the issues affecting the development in batteries for clean energy. Touching aspects such as the potential rise of grid power storage as a portion of the battery market and how that will affect cell types and materials and considerations on the supply chains to meet these. Finally a look at equipment requirements and size limitations of existing equipment.

After a long career in engineering consulting and contracting with Jacobs, Graham is now a senior technology specialist in battery and energy transition materials at Worley and at the forefront of the industrial use of batteries as part of the Energy Transition.

Prior to the meeting as well as afterwards there will be the opportunity to network informally over drinks and nibbles.
