Elizabeth Salter is the Chair of the IChemE Congress and Head of Process Safety for Nigeria LNG. British, and educated in England, she has had the privilege of experiencing many cultures while working with global colleagues in global locations.

Elizabeth Salter, Head of Process Safety, Nigeria LNG
Elizabeth graduated from Aston University in 1996 as a chemical engineer. She specialised in technical safety and now works as the Head of Process Safety for Nigeria LNG. She has mainly worked in the energy sector, mainly in gas, and on site. She mentors chemical engineers to achieve Chartered Status and is a Fellow of IChemE.
Elizabeth remains on the Steering Committee of the Oman Professional Engineers’ Network, OPEN, a location where she co-founded an IChemE member group. In her many years of experience, she has researched, managed, trained and designed with passion, skill and professionalism.
