Abdullah Al Magazache
Abdullah is a chemical engineer currently working at Petrofac, where he contributes to carbon capture, hydrogen, and oil and gas projects through flow assurance and safety engineering. He has experience modelling CO₂ and multiphase transport systems using OLGA, PIPESIM, and Multiflash, and conducting QRA and bowtie analyses for major energy clients.
Abdullah completed his MSc in Advanced Chemical Engineering with Distinction at Imperial College London, where his research focused on CFD and machine learning applications for hydrogen production. Prior to joining Petrofac, he worked at Saint-Gobain, where he supported industrial decarbonisation initiatives and led the successful submission of a £525,000 Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IETF) grant to drive energy efficiency and sustainable transformation projects.
Fluent in Arabic, Dutch, and English, Abdullah is passionate about multiphase phenomena, complex modelling, and advancing the energy transition. Outside of work, he enjoys fitness, football, and reading.
