Guiseppe Bagnato
Giuseppe is a Lecturer in Chemical Engineering at Lancaster University, where his work focuses on net zero carbon technologies, hydrogen production and storage, and catalytic process intensification. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and has held research and teaching positions across the UK and Europe, including Queen’s University Belfast, Teesside University, and Ca’ Foscari Venice University.
He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications and contributed to several book chapters in the fields of hydrogen energy, biomass valorisation, and membrane reactors.
Outside of academia, he enjoys traditional jiu jitsu and sailing, which reflect his appreciation for discipline, balance, and exploration. Beyond his academic and professional commitments, he finds balance through traditional jiu jitsu and sailing.
