Nathan is a chemical engineer at AWE having completed the graduate scheme in 2024. He had graduated from the University of Manchester in 2022 with an MEng degree having also studied at INP-Toulouse where he investigated how to extract value from plum seeds.

Nathan is a keen STEM ambassador, volunteering with the Davidson’s inventors challenge, YEAIS, Virtual work experience platform, as well as giving talks to schools about chemical engineering, the nuclear industry, and life at university. Nathan also acts as the webinars lead for the Nuclear Technology Special Interest group where he helps deliver technical webinars to members.
