The role of the New South Wales Members Group committee is to be the ambassadors of IChemE at a local level and assist in the delivery of the Institution's mission, through events, technical meetings, networking, professional development and promotion of the chemical and process engineering profession.

Tom works as Consultant in WSP’s Infrastructure Investment Decisions team where he creates business cases and provides policy, implementation, and technical guidance that develop robust and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Maria is an applications and project engineer working in the water industry. She has recently graduated from the University of Sydney (chemical engineer).

Koentadi is a PhD student of chemical engineering and food science and is also a vice-president of the University of New South Wales Chemical Engineering Research Society. He specialises in non-thermal food processing and meat safety.

Aravind works predominantly in the manufacturing industry delivering a variety of operational excellence and capital work projects.
Jeffrey is an experienced Chartered Chemist and Chartered Engineer (Chemical engineer) with a demonstrated history of working as products development and improvement, operation and quality control trouble-shooting, unknown product / substance characterisation and reverse-engineering process.
Billy is a Chartered Chemical Engineer with 25 years experience in gas process design and commissioning.
Jason is a Risk Engineering Practitioner with over 15 years’ experience in risk engineering within the chemical & insurance industry.
Maya is a Process engineer with a great interest in the future of sustainable energy delivery in both brownfield and greenfield projects.
Immediate past Chair
Heather is the Chair of the Joint Chemical Engineering Committee (JCEC) NSW and is currently working as a Consultant Engineer in the insurance industry focusing on property protection.
University of Sydney student representative
Fleur is an undergraduate student in her third year studying BEng (Chemical and Biomolecular) and BSci (Environmental Science) at the University of Sydney.
