The role of the state group committee is to be the Ambassadors of IChemE at a local level and assist in the delivery of the Institution’s mission, through events, technical meetings, networking, professional development and promotion of the chemical and process engineering profession.

Kaitlyn McCrone AMIChemE
Kaitlyn is a process engineer with experience in the oil and gas, minerals processing and construction industries.
Adam is a process engineer working as a Graduate Engineer at GPA Engineering. He specialises in mining and minerals processing consulting projects.
Emma is a Process Engineer with broad experience in production supervision, project management and technical support. Particularly interested in continuing to expand experience in design engineering and onsite project management.
Damien Rankine is currently the Research and Quality Manager at Dominant Chemicals, and is responsible for the design of new cleaning and personal care products (liquids, powders and tablets), as well as overseeing the management of company quality systems and regulatory compliance.
Professor David Lewis
Academic Representative University of Adelaide
David is Chartered Chemical Engineer with experience in both industry and academia. He has worked in the petroleum, mining, automation, hospitality and defence industries, and is currently serving as the Head of the School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials at the University of Adelaide.
Afshin is an experienced process engineer in oil and gas facilities with over ten years of work experience within both design, consulting and operation environments.
Jessica Lyons is a Process Engineer, currently working in the mining industry. Her ten years of experience has also included time in operational engineering support roles in the oil and gas industry as well as water and wastewater.
Ben is a chemical engineer with 12 years of experience in the oil and gas, minerals processing, power generation and renewable energy industries.
Michael is a highly motivated leader who has successfully delivered $700m worth of projects in the power and oil and gas environment over the past decade.
Dr Richmond K. Asamoah
Dr Richmond K. Asamoah is a mineral and resource engineer, having over ten years in-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience in mineral characterisation and extractive metallurgy in tandem with molecular chemistry, interfacial science and data analytics.

Jack is a current student at the University of Adelaide, and President of the Chemical Engineering Student Society. He is interested in pursuing a career in the field of metallurgy.
