Overview

Safety Integrity Level (SIL) rated protective systems need to be tested to prove that they not only meet the requirements of the Safety Requirements Specification, but also that they act in the expected manner, at the expected set points and produce the expected results.

This technical talk will present a testing methodology which meets the requirements of the functional safety standards, BS EN IEC61511 and IEC61508.
