Ali is the process director at Fluor's Life Science Group. He is a Chartered Chemical Engineer with a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Birmingham, UK.

With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, life science, and biotechnology sectors, Ali has worked extensively in biologics manufacturing and engineering consultancy offices.

Ali's primary focus lies in manufacturing biopharmaceuticals, cell and gene therapy products, and renewable commodities utilising biotech engineering principles. He actively seeks solutions to enhance project sustainability and process intensification, and reduce manufacturing costs to enhance access to medicines.

Ali holds a MSc and BSc in chemical engineering from Shaif University of Technology, Tehran.
