It is important in the industry to be able to model accurately in the industry, whether for the purpose of:
- initial project design and sizing
- performance monitoring on the run
- economic optimisation
- operating condition checks
- troubleshooting.
By having flow sheet modelling tools which can provide high accuracy or linear programming for economic optimisation, modelling results provide a critical input in decision making within the industry.
