Overview

The official online launch of the Clean Energy SIG collection of hydrogen articles released in 'The Chemical Engineer'. Andy Brown will provide an introduction to hydrogen, continuing to summarise the articles contained within the compendium. These articles cover subjects such as hydrogen vehicles and hydrogen in gas turbines, as well as a glance at how different regions are handling the growth of the hydrogen economy.

Presenter

Andy Brown, Progressive Energy

Following a 30-year career in electricity supply, Andy co-founded Progressive Energy, as Engineering Director, developing IGCC projects (earning the Hebden Medal in 2007). He has served on the ECTSG/CESIG for 23 years. His focus is now on hydrogen production and utilisation with Carbon Capture and Storage and the HyNet project.

Intended audience

Through providing a summary of the articles, key technologies and trends will be communicated to attendees, imparting a wide array of knowledge on the subject matter.

A one-hour online session: 40 minutes' presentation + 20 minutes' Q&A.
