Overview
This presentation will present the latest technical developments and the advantages of the advanced waste incineration technology. Modern combustion technology will fulfil the requirements in the new Waste Incineration BREF and will provide an energy efficient waste treatment with low emission to the environment. WTE is a sustainable solution and is together with recycling a part of the circular economy. Cases will be presented.

Bettina Kamuk, Ramboll
Bettina is Global Market Director of Ramboll Energy from Waste. She has over 25 years' experience in waste management and has worked as Project Manager/Project Director for WTE projects Worldwide (Incl. USA, MIddle East, South East Asia and Europe). She is currently Technical Advisor for NEA's Integrated Waste Management Facility in Singapore which planned to treat more than 2 million tons of waste annually. Bettina Has for 8 years been chair of ISWA Working Group on Energy Recovery.

A one-hour online session: 40 minutes' presentation + 20 minutes' Q&A.
