Overview
Jimmy is a French nuclear energy company developing small modular reactors (SMRs) to decarbonize industrial heat production. Our reactors provide reliable, competitive, low-carbon heat with zero direct CO2 emissions, thus replacing fossil fuel-based boilers. Each reactor delivers approximately 60 MW of thermal power, supplying steam at temperatures up to 470°C and pressure up to 45 bar. Jimmy offers a turnkey solution, covering financing, licensing, construction, operation, and maintenance, with no upfront investment required from customers. Through long-term heat purchase agreements, Jimmy helps industrial companies secure stable energy costs while significantly reducing their carbon emissions and dependence on fossil fuels.
This webinar aims to introduce nuclear heat as an innovative solution for industrial decarbonization. Jimmy will present how its SMR solution fits the heat needs of industrials in the chemicals sector, highlighting safety and security of its technology at the service of reliability, and showing competitiveness and flexibility of its offer through use cases. The session will explore the technical and economic benefits of nuclear heat, its integration into existing industrial processes, and its role in reducing dependence on fossil fuels. The webinar will also provide an opportunity to engage with industrial stakeholders, answer questions, and explore potential partnerships and applications across different sectors.
Speaker
Olivier Arthaud, Head of Business Development, Jimmy Energy
Olivier Arthaud is Head of Business Development at Jimmy. Jimmy’s industrial project and long-term vision as a decarbonised energy provider are perfectly in line with the convictions he developed whilst at the Engie Group, where he played an active role in implementing the energy transition strategy. There, he held management and executive roles at subsidiaries in France and abroad, which enabled him to develop negotiation and business development skills that he now puts to good use at Jimmy.
