Particle Technology
Past, Present, Future Particle Technology Conference
- Date From 30th March 2026
- Date To 1st April 2026
- Price From £200.00.
- Location University of Leeds Business School, Maurice Keyworth Building, Woodhouse, Leeds, LS6 1AN.
Overview
Recent transformative technologies like high-resolution imaging, dynamic powder rheometry, and advanced particle analysis tools have improved our understanding of particle morphology and behaviour. Progress in multi-scale modelling methods, such as DEM, CFD, and PBM, has deepened insights into particulate systems. Industries like pharmaceuticals and additive manufacturing have benefited from enhanced knowledge of powder dynamics, resulting in more robust processes and better product quality.
The field is now shifting towards data-driven methods, with AI and machine learning complementing traditional approaches. ML techniques are being used to predict powder flow, optimise processes, and enable intelligent, adaptive manufacturing through integration with digital twins and sensor data.
We invite you to a three-day conference featuring plenary and keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations, and a dedicated session for early-career researchers, including awards sponsored by IChemE and the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Join us to review progress, explore AI-powered innovations, and engage with emerging leaders in particulate science.
