Overview
This presentation provides details of a steam network, whose process control philosophies were optimised using a rigorous dynamic model. The objective of the study was to understand the impact of changes in the topology of the steam network and also analyse the Dynamic impact on the steam network of choosing different control philosophies. The study resulted in several benefits such as improved understanding of the steam network and dynamic interactions and how better to operate the system to improve steam network pressure control.
